言葉は一つ一つ重力を持っている
軽い言葉、重い言葉
宙を舞えるほど身を軽くしてくれる言葉
言葉一つで身体は押し潰されそうになる
言葉は身体を貫き、心を触ってくる
汚い手や、きれいな手で、すべすべな手や、ごつごつの手で
ぶすっと突いたり、じんわり包んだり、ぐらぐら揺すったり
言葉は怖いものだ、危険なものだ、暴力、欲しくなるものだ、優しいものだ、救済
言わなくちゃいけないんだ、受け入れなくちゃいけないんだ
胸の内側で重いのは何だ？この重さは一体何だ？
このままこの重さを引きずって進んで行けるのか？
身体の中に放り込まれた鉛玉、あいつの言葉

What is this weight inside my chest?
What is this heaviness I carry?
Can I keep dragging it along,
And still move forward?
Each word has its own gravity—
A light word, a heavy word.
Some words lift you,
Make you float above the ground.
But one word alone
Can crush your body down.
Words pierce through flesh,
Touch the heart—
With dirty hands, with clean hands,
With smooth or rough hands—
They stab, they wrap, they shake.
Words are frightening,
Dangerous, violent,
Desirable, gentle, saving.
I must speak.
I must accept.
What is this weight inside my chest?
What is this heaviness I carry?
Can I keep dragging it along,
And still move forward?
